today i was continuing my book chasing Brooklyn. I am on page 200 and I really enjoy this book so far. it started out pretty slow but once it got through filling you in on the background then it picked up. today i read about how Nico is starting to notice weird things happen in his room, like this book called a cry for help is being moved around his room. sometimes he will wake up with the book lying right next to him. he is starting to figure that Brooklyn is in trouble and Lucca is trying to tell him about it. my predictions for this book are that lucca is going to give more hints to Nico about Brooklyn being in trouble. then Brooklyn and Nico are going to begin to be better friends and perhaps fall in love.

Rot and Ruin
Well im still not a huge fan of this book but im going to push through it. Today all I read about how the boy tom is complaining about how he is so unexcited about getting a job and how he thinks a girl likes him. All he did was complain about his brother and how he cant find a job he likes. I liked this quote it was just kinda funny. "The hammer didnt laugh much but when he was in the mood his eyes would twinkle like a merry pig." i found that quote quite humorous.

Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Mayberry
Today I am reading Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Mayberry. So far I am not to impressed with the book but im not ready to give up on it yet. Basicaly there is a boy named tom who lives in a town with zombies. the zombies are contained in a fence that stretches for miles and miles. He is fifteen and once you hit fifteen I beleive you have six months to find work or your rations will be cut in half. Tom lives with his brother who hunts and kill zombies. All tom wants to do is kill zombies but his brother disaproves of that dream. He says its not all its cracked up to be. That is pretty much all I read today. But one quote that I read was "the older kids said that if you look into a zom's eyes, your reflection would show you how you'd look as one of the living dead." Tom was the one who said the quote and I thought that quote was kinda cool and tied in with the story because then the boys go find out if this theory is realy true. When I read this book I obviously think about zombies so here is a picture of one.
